I am a consultant archaeologist, specialising in monastic and ecclesiastical sites and buildings, including being Peterborough Cathedral Archaeologist. I am also currently working part-time for Leicester University as the archaeologist on the multidisciplinary project 'Representing Re-formation' studying the tombs of the Howard dukes of Norfolk at Thetford Priory and Framlingham church. I am concentrating on their physical and liturgical context at the priory and on the discoveries of the 1930s. As well as my work for the Society for Church Archaeology, I sit on the Nene Valley Archaeological Trust Research Committee and the Anthony Mellows Memorial Trust.
